Where it shows up

The floating widget is a pill or tab docked to a corner of your storefront — bottom-right by default — that sits on top of your store's content on every page. When a customer clicks it, it expands into a panel showing your campaign's referral offer and the share flow (name and email capture, then the share options).

Because it's tied to your theme rather than a specific page or template, it's the one placement guaranteed to show up wherever a customer happens to be browsing, not just around checkout.

Why use it

It's the easiest way to make your referral program visible everywhere on your store, without needing to touch individual page templates. If you want a persistent, always-available invitation to share, this is the placement built for that.

Where to enable it

The floating widget is a Shopify theme app embed — a singleton that's either on or off for your whole theme, not something added to individual sections or pages. To turn it on:

In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize to open the Theme Editor.
Open App embeds in the left-hand panel.
Find "Soreto Embed" in the list.
Turn its toggle on.
Save.

Because it's an embed rather than a block, there's nothing to "add" to a page — once the toggle is on and saved, it appears across your whole storefront automatically.

Where to customize it

The floating widget draws on settings from two different places, and the split between them is the single most common point of confusion for this placement:

This app's campaign wizard (Creative & Launch step) controls the widget's copy — title, body, and CTA button text — and the campaign images used in the panel.
Shopify's Theme Editor, in the embed's own settings (not the wizard), controls position, offset from the edge, tab height, the collapsed tab's label, and a "Style mood" setting with a custom Accent color option.

Button colours are where this gets specific. The primary and secondary button colours you set in the campaign wizard can apply to this placement's Continue button — but only when the Theme Editor's Accent color for this embed is cleared to blank. Note that the field ships with a dark grey swatch already filled in by default, not blank — so if you've never touched it, it's already set to something, not "empty." If a merchant has an Accent color set in the Theme Editor (default or otherwise), that colour always wins over the campaign's own button colours. This isn't a bug or a limitation of the app — it's the same precedence you'd expect from any other theme-level setting: a merchant's own branding choice made directly in the Theme Editor takes priority over a campaign default.

Common confusion

"I set my campaign's button colours but the floating widget still shows the old colour." This is almost always caused by an explicit Accent color already set on the Soreto Embed in the Theme Editor. Check there first — under App embeds → Soreto Embed → Style mood / Accent color — before assuming the campaign's colour setting didn't save or apply. If an Accent color is set, clear it (or accept it as the intended override) to let the campaign's own colours show through.

Common questions

Does the floating widget show on every page, or can I limit it to certain pages? It shows on every page once the App embeds toggle is on — there's no per-page control for this placement, since it's a theme-wide embed rather than a page-level block.
Can I move the floating widget to a different corner? Yes — position and offset are controlled in the Theme Editor's embed settings, not in the campaign wizard.
Why does my Continue button match my theme instead of my campaign? Check the embed's Accent color setting in the Theme Editor. If it's set to a specific colour, it always overrides the campaign's own button colours for this placement.
If I clear the Theme Editor's Accent color, will my campaign's colours apply automatically? Yes — once no explicit Accent color is set on the embed, the Continue button falls back to the primary and secondary colours set in the campaign wizard.
