Our proprietary Soreto Referral Technology enables you to add Refer-A-Friend capabilities to your on-site and off-site Digital Marketing channels, allowing you to turn your happy customers into Brand Advocates.
This is delivered through a multi-touchpoint strategy, giving you multiple placements on and off-site. These include pre-purchase and post-purchase Lightboxes on your website, as well as a dedicated Refer-A-Friend Page. These are all built by Soreto using your Brand fonts, colours and imagery to give your customers a seamless Brand experience.
You also get access to the Soreto Dashboard so you can track the performance metrics of your Referral Programme.
Our pricing is based upon a tailored forecast that uses real data to accurately estimate the results that we can drive for your business. We charge a set-up fee, a Technology License Fee and a CPA on sales generated.
Yes, there is a set-up fee, which covers the technical set-up and campaign, including the build of your creative assets, pre-launch checks and access to our performance dashboard.
Our award-winning platform delivers high-performance on-site and off-site placements, sharing via social media channels (limited for Soreto Ignite), secure global coverage including advanced code security features and access to the Soreto analytics dashboard.
We have a number of ways to integrate depending on what makes the most sense for your Brand. For Brands who use an Affiliate Network with a MasterTag, integration is a simple case of requesting for the Soreto Tag to be activated.
Alternatively, we can integrate directly or through a Container Tag such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Adobe Tag Manager.
If your Brand doesn’t currently work with an Affiliate Network, then we can work with you on a Fixed Fee basis only. Sales will be tracked via our internal tracking instead of using Affiliate tracking.
Soreto is fully GDPR compliant. Soreto is a data processor. We are processing data on your behalf, for the purposes of administrating your Referral Marketing campaign.
We process a customer’s first name, their email, order ID and order value. We need the customer’s name to personalise the communications which they receive. Their Email address so that we can execute the Thank You Reward post a user sharing with their Friends.
For your customers that share your Brand, their information is stored on our platform (hosted on AWS), it is encrypted and password protected, and after 6 months this data is deleted.

We use AWS and Heroku (part of Salesforce) to store data which is in the EEA. We delete all data after 6 months.
Soreto Referral Technology enables your customers to share to a choice of Social and Messaging platforms including WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest, Viber, Telegram, and Snapchat (mobile only) – as well as a copy Link option.
We don’t support sharing via email in the UK or Europe. In the UK, the ICO believe that retailers are bypassing privacy rules by encouraging people to share by email, rather than going through GDPR opt-in guidelines.
Soreto does provide an optional ‘keep sharing’ email which you forward to your friends and family.
For Brands in the US and ROW where we are not restricted by GDPR, we are able to add email as a sharing option.
The most effective campaigns utilise their Refer-A-Friend page to promote their Referral Programme, via email and on their social channels. It is crucial that you promote this placement in multiple touchpoints to grow awareness, credibility and trust in your Referral Programme. The more you promote, the better your Return on Investment.

Across our entire platform of 100s of campaigns across 36+ countries globally, we see that on average 6 – 8% of customers who see the overlay on your confirmation page share it with their friends and family. However, strong brands with great offers see share rates over 15 – 20%.
These shares to social and messaging apps have 30%+ Click Through Rates and convert to Sales at 15% on average – so very strong metrics.
Soreto’s technology has a number of features built in to effectively manage code leakage. The best practice is to provide us with single-use, unique codes, but we also have a number of features in place to help prevent code leakage, including the ability to tie a code to a link so that they cannot refresh the page and retrieve multiple codes. If you cannot use voucher codes on your site, then it makes it difficult for your customers and their friends to redeem their Referral incentive. The functionality for your checkout to accept codes makes the Referral mechanism smooth and recognisable for your customers.
Even if you aren’t offering a discount on your product as a reward, you will still need to offer an incentive for sharing your Brand – this is vital to the success of your Referral Programme. If Brand discounts go against your Brand positioning, there are other alternatives such as personalised gifts, planting trees, early access, event invitations, competitions and more.
Your Referral Specialist will be able to guide you to the right rewards and A/B testing options to optimize your performance.
Once your campaign goes live you will be given access to the Soreto Dashboard where you can see the performance metrics for your Referral Programme.
You will be able to see how many times your Lightbox has been viewed, the number of Referral Enrolments, the Enrolment Rate, Clicks, Referral and Offers Clicks and CTRs, Conversion Rate, Sales, and Order Value. You can also drill down to Social Channel and Device.
Through this Dashboard, you will be able to access your Referral Data to enrich your other Marketing Data.
You will have a dedicated Referral Specialist from our Client Services Team to advise and guide you from day one. During set up your Referral Specialist will guide you through our straightforward onboarding process.
Once live, our Tech Support team continuously monitor your Campaign for code breakage, implementation issues etc. In the first 6 months, your Referral Specialist will support you with campaign analysis, insights, an A/B testing plan and optimizations.
Once your Programme is fully optimized, they will be on hand to support any Campaign refreshes and continue to monitor performance and codes.
